For Kids has applied for 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation status and regular donations are expected to be tax deductible. Personal tax situations vary and we recommend you contact a tax professional to determine your tax benefit. · How do I determine the value of my computer? Can you do it for me? You are responsible for setting the value on your donation. Charities are not authorized to place a value on your donated computer. If your donation has a value over $5000 you will need an appraisal for tax purposes. We are able to arrange for an independent appraiser to appraise your computer at no cost to you. We will then provide you with all the tax documents necessary to claim your deduction. · Will there be any cost to me? No, I.T. For Kids will pay the cost to pick up your computer. · What do I need to do to donate my computer? Simply fill out our online donation form, or call us (727) 490-3542. · How long will it take to pick up my computer? We will contact you within 24-48 hours to set up a convenient pick up time for you. In most cases we can have your computer picked up in 3-5 days. · May I contact someone to expedite the process? Yes, please contact us at (727) 490-3542 , and one of our agents will be glad to set up a convenient pick up time while you are on the phone. · How will the computer be picked up? We will send a a professional from Bay Geeks to pick up your computer. · Where do we pick up computers? We currently pick up computers in certain cities. Please donate online, or call us at (727) 490-3542 or e-mail us at info@itforkids.org to schedule a pick up of your computer at no cost to you.

Your donations will purchase needed parts for donated computers. Every subscription can repair many computers or buy a brand new one! Please include your preference with your subscription, email or call to indicate your preference or leave it to the discretion of the board members and current organizational objectives.
